About The Role

Americanflat is looking for a HR Manager that will support the HR Director by managing the day-to-day HR operations for Americanflat’s globally distributed, remote workforce. Acting as a key liaison between staff members and leadership, the HR Manager ensures the seamless implementation of policies, procedures, and programs that align with organizational goals. A critical responsibility includes managing the recruitment lifecycle, from revising job descriptions to onboarding new hires, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate will also play a central role in maintaining staff relations, addressing workplace concerns, and fostering a positive and inclusive culture. This position involves coordinating performance management processes, such as feedback cycles and staff evaluations, to support professional growth and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support the HR Director in implementing strategic HR initiatives.
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the remote workforce.
  • Serve as a point of contact for staffs to address concerns, questions, or feedback.
  • Mediate and resolve staff conflicts, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Ensure the implementation and communication of HR policies across all regions.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with international labor laws and standards.
  • Coordinate performance reviews and feedback cycles.
  • Organize training programs to enhance staff skills and career development.
  • Promote leadership training initiatives in collaboration with the HR Director.
  • Maintain HR management systems for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Generate reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, hiring statistics, and staff engagement.
  • Coordinate virtual team-building events and recognition programs.
  • Help sustain a cohesive and inclusive company culture in a remote environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years managing HR operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in a remote or international company is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, including recruitment, compliance, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with HR software and tools such as BambooHR, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of remote work best practices and engagement strategies.
  • Certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or GPHR is a plus.
