Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 33 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced .NET Developer to be a key resource on a technical services team.

**Location of job: 100% Remote**


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new web applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) in a SCRUM/Agile environment.
  • Understand existing Data Model designs and modify them as required.
  • Ensure the scalability and performance of the new web application.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve issues within the new system.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
  • Provide proof of concept solutions for implementation and design of critical components.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in SDLC support, with a focus on:
  • Design Web Applications with Microsoft technologies.
  • SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
  • DevOps practices, particularly in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Design Patterns and Principles
  • SQL Server database, including stored procedures, and query performance tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems using Bitbucket or Git.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10 years of Software Development Life Cycle
  • 10 years of Microsoft Technologies (.NET, C#, Visual Studio)
  • 10 years of Design Principles
  • 10 years of Technical Documentation
  • 8 years of Web Application development using .NET technologies
  • 8 years of SCRUM/Agile methodologies
  • 6 years of Object-Relational Mapping using Entity Framework
  • 6 years of database implementation and data model design
  • 5 years o fBitbucket or Git version control


Preferred:

  • 3 years of familiarity with Project-Specific Tools such as JIRA, TEMPO, Bitbucket, Confluence etc.
