Stelfox is partnering with a Fintech product provider in Dublin who are looking to add a Software QA engineer to their team.
As a QA in the team, you will be involved in all stages of the SDLC, from working on new features, to investigating bugs that might find there way into a live product/production environment. You will be testing software products across both the backend and frontend via a mix of manual and automation testing.
Some of your key tasks will be:
- Design and implement robust automated test suites and end-to-end user flows
- Execute testing strategies for both frontend and backend systems.
- Work on strategic QA initiatives across software development projects.
- Drive continuous improvements of test automation frameworks and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases for each software release cycle
- Perform thorough defect analysis, documentation, and reporting
- Build strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams
- Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Core experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, across both manual and automated testing
- Advanced knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools
- Deep understanding of Agile development practices and QA integration
- Expertise in developing comprehensive test strategies aligned with business requirements
- Strong programming skills in at least one major language (Python preferred)
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Preferred experience can include:
- Experience with cloud-based test automation platforms
- Certifications in relevant QA methodologies or tools
- Experience with performance testing and security testing
- Knowledge of containerisation and microservices architecture.
This position will be based off a hybrid working model in Dublin City, with 2 days in the office and 3 WFH.
