Halo Media is seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our dynamic team, building robust and scalable software infrastructure to support data handling, security, and server-side functionality.
Requirements
Proven experience with Ruby on Rails (3+ years)
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React or Vue.js is a plus)
Experience with version control systems like Git
Familiarity with continuous deployment tools (Heroku, AWS, Docker is a plus)
Ability to work in a team and adapt to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of DevOps and production deployment
Experience with integrating RESTful APIs
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
Implement and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Conduct automated testing (RSpec, Capybara)
Collaborate with design, product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality project delivery
