QA Tester in COLOMBIA

We are looking for a skilled QA Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing modern web applications, utilizing technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, and tools like Jest, Playwright, and Git. The role requires proficiency in unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end (E2E) tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation: Design and implement automated tests using Jest for unit and integration testing and Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Test Management: Develop and maintain testing strategies, covering unit, integration, and E2E tests, ensuring that the application works as expected under various scenarios.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers to review code and ensure that the testing process is integrated into the development workflow.
• Continuous Integration: Leverage Git and CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests and ensure they run with every code change.
• Quality Assurance: Actively identify and report bugs, edge cases, and potential issues, and work with developers to resolve them quickly.
• SOLID Principles: Ensure that tests are designed following SOLID principles, promoting clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with testing frameworks, particularly Jest for unit and integration testing.
• Expertise in Playwright or similar tools for E2E testing.
• Strong understanding of Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing.
• A deep understanding of software development principles, including SOLID.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• English B2+ - C1 (Is a must)
