We are seeking an experienced Game Monetization Expert to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing monetization strategies for our free-to-play fashion mobile game (Fashion League). You will leverage your expertise to balance business goals with an exceptional player experience, ensuring both profitability and user retention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monetization Strategy Development:
- Design and implement monetization strategies that maximize revenue while maintaining a positive player experience.
- Develop and manage pricing models, in-app purchase (IAP) bundles, and advertising placements.
2. Data Analysis and Optimization:
- Analyze player behavior, game performance, and monetization data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Use A/B testing to optimize offers, promotions, and pricing strategies.
3. Collaborate Across Teams:
- Work closely with game designers, product managers, and marketing teams to ensure monetization features integrate seamlessly with gameplay.
- Partner with the analytics team to establish KPIs and monitor performance metrics.
4. Live Ops and Events:
- Create and manage live operations strategies, including sales, special events, and seasonal offers.
- Define reward structures and retention strategies to drive player engagement.
5. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor monetization models, and player expectations.
- Apply insights from competitor analysis to improve monetization strategies.
6. Compliance and Player Experience:
- Ensure monetization strategies comply with platform guidelines (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play).
- Balance monetization with ethical considerations, prioritizing player trust and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven track record in game monetization, preferably in free-to-play mobile games.
- 3+ years of experience in game design, live operations, or product management roles.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics, or custom dashboards).
- Expertise in designing in-game economies, virtual currency systems, and IAP strategies.
- Understanding of player psychology and behavior to craft engaging monetization models.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
