Our platform is used by over 8000 users across trusted industry leaders and is responsible for managing several of the UK’s most iconic buildings, such as London’s O2 Arena, The Shard, One Blackfriars, and The Cheese Grater to name just a few.

The goal of QUOODA is to make it quicker and easier to manage property risk and compliance, providing key information at your fingertips in real-time covering Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental impact, Asset Management, Work Permits and more.

The Team

Our team is focused on delivering an industry leading platform for our users and providing them with the right features to simplify their tasks. To do this, the team is fully cross-functional and follows agile best practices in a highly collaborative environment - Taking ownership of the platform architecture, infrastructure, and application lifecycle following the ‘Build It, Ship It, Own It’ philosophy.

We currently have several teams made up of engineers, testers, and product owners, and are expanding these as we move closer to our scalability and growth targets. The Role

We are undergoing a technology transformation which includes migrating our platform to Microsoft Azure and conducting several re-architecture changes to utilise the power and efficiency of the tools that this platform provides.

We are undergoing a technology transformation which excitingly includes building a brand-new SaaS software product from the ground up to eventually replace our incumbent one. To enable the acceleration of this goal, we are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated Senior Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure and how to utilise the power and efficiency of the tools that this platform provides.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-On Development:

1. Development of a new, robust and scalable SaaS software product using Microsoft .NET and Azure technologies.
2. Ensure best practices in software development, including continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
3. Actively participate in coding, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
4. Handle system maintenance, including troubleshooting and resolving bugs in new system.

Project Ownership

1. Own individual projects from inception through deployment, reporting on progress, challenges, and timelines.
2. Collaborate with Engineering Team Leads and Product Owners to ensure alignment with business goals.
3. Actively participate in team discussions and help design scalable, high-performance solutions.

Collaboration and Communication:

3. Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and continuous integration/deployment.

Requirements

• Extremely strong proficiency building complex SaaS applications in Microsoft .NET technologies and the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Proven experience as a senior member of a software engineering team.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of building API and Web based systems.
• A keen interest in staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technology.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

We are offering a competitive package subject to qualifications, skills and experience. The role is full-time 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday. This is a remote position; however, you will be required to attend our London office from time to time.
