They are now looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Data Scientist to join their Hamburg team. In this role, you will help develop machine learning models, analyze data, and collaborate with engineers to optimize the company’s software solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform product decisions.
- Model Development: Develop machine learning models for predicting and optimizing location-based services.
- Collaboration: Work with engineers and senior data scientists to integrate machine learning models into the company's product pipeline.
- Data Processing: Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines to handle large-scale datasets efficiently.

What We’re Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s and Idealy a Masters in degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Working student, or 1 years commercial experience is a big preference.
Technical Skills
- Programming: Strong experience with Python and relevant data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- SQL: Proficiency with SQL to query databases and manage large datasets.
- Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and model evaluation.
- Data Visualization: Familiarity with visualization tools like matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly to present findings clearly.
- Cloud Tools: Exposure to cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS or Google Cloud) for data storage or model deployment is a plus.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with real-time data processing or optimization models.
- Exposure to AI-driven or machine learning-powered applications.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Knowledge of German is not required but would be beneficial.
