Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in SAP ABAP (HANA)
development for our Asset Management Platform. The role is based in Krakow-Poland, and the
successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the engineering field.
Our project involves the management of a large and intricate rental system catering to corporate
clients on a global scale. Collaborating with major construction companies, our system incorporates
several critical components and generates a substantial monthly revenue of 1 million CHF. The team
has been the primary vendor for the past 2.5 years, working closely to support the IT infrastructure
responsible for tool rentals worldwide for a leading provider company based in Switzerland. Our
team primarily engages with the SAP platform and middleware, employing Java microservices.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SAP ECC 6.0 environment and/or
S/4HANA, preferably in SAP SD module.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields; a PhD is an
added advantage.
• Proven full-stack experience of 4+ years in development across process areas in SAP and
cloud environments, using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Leadership experience within a team.
• Technical expertise in SAP and cloud technologies, including ABAP, UI5, Java, Javascript,
Scala, HANA DB, Oracle DB, GIT, ORMS, HTML, Bamboo or Jenkins, and non-relational
databases.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles and design patterns.
• Analytical skills to formulate development methodologies across various technologies.
• Willingness to learn and the ability to develop oneself and colleagues.
• Experience working in an international and geographically dispersed team.
• Excellent communication skills, high commitment, self-responsibility, and customer
orientation.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operations of our core
systems (SAP S/4HANA and cloud services). This involves driving the modernization of existing
systems and the development of new platforms using cutting-edge technologies in a continuous
delivery model, leveraging Agile best practices.
Your responsibilities will include implementing and supporting Global IT solutions, utilizing emerging
techniques and technologies such as user-centricity, responsive design, and cloud/on-premise
solutions. You will evaluate IT solutions for economic and operational feasibility, implementing
software architecture into detailed design, code, unit & modular testing, and performance
optimization.
As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior developers, lead technology vendors, and
collaborate with various project stakeholders, including business, IT, and technology vendors. Your
role will be integral to a high-paced strategic company program.
