Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Administrator to join our growing team. As a Network Security Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our network systems. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and upgrading our network security infrastructure to protect our company's data and systems from potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs)
Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and take necessary action to prevent security breaches
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address any potential risks
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve any network security issues
Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the company's security infrastructure
Provide training and support to employees on network security best practices
Collaborate with external security vendors and service providers to ensure the effectiveness of security measures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network security administration
Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR and ISO 27001
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCNA, etc.) are a plus
