Devops / Python Software Engineer in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented Azure Devops / Python Software Engineer willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Azure Cloud environments and be capable of supporting applications across the Power IS scope. Proficiency in Python OR C# .NET development is highly valued, as the role may include contributing to the development of algorithmic trading or optimization solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in existing applications and systems.
• Plan, schedule, and execute development tasks efficiently.
• Design, implement, and optimize various project components.
• Collaborate with Functional Analysts or end users to gather requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans in partnership with Functional Analysts or users.
• Actively participate in Agile team ceremonies, including planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation and user manuals.
• Provide technical assistance and support to users.
• Monitor and perform post-release follow-ups for DevOps and ALM deliverables.

Experience Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Database technologies such as Postgres DB and Cosmos DB
• Development and integration of REST APIs
• Proficiency in programming with Python.

Preferred, but not a must

• Experience in C# .NET development.
• Prior experience in algorithmic trading or optimization solutions is a plus.
