Senior Backend TypeScript Developer

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Backend TypeScript Developer - this is a fully remote job, but candidates need to be based between -3 UTC and +5 UTC or willing to overlap with those hours significantly.

We're building an innovative AI-powered platform at the intersection of social media and cryptocurrency. Our product has gained significant traction with 300k+ followers and a thriving ecosystem.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced backend TypeScript developer to help scale our infrastructure and expand our platform's capabilities. This is a key technical role focused on building robust, scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using TypeScript/Node.js
• Build and maintain integrations with external APIs (Twitter/X, crypto data providers)
• Develop and optimize message queue systems for real-time data processing
• Create reliable API endpoints for platform features
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Collaborate on architecture decisions for new features## Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience with production-grade API integrations
  
  
  

Requirements

5+ years in software engineering

Proficient in typescript development (3+ years) with a focus on backend

Experience in a fast paced startup that ships to production often

Bonus if you have direct experience working with LLMs & experience with LogQL / Grafana.

Based between -3 UTC and +5 UTC or willing to overlap with those hours significantly
