About the Position
Distillery is seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with strong expertise in C# and ASP.NET to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable, high-performing web applications and APIs while ensuring seamless user experiences. This is a backfill role requiring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. The role involves working in a collaborative Agile Scrum environment with opportunities to contribute to critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and ASP.NET.
- Create and consume RESTful Web APIs to ensure seamless integration with external systems.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Identity Server.
- Use Entity Framework for efficient data access and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and indexes for better performance.
- Manage application deployments on Windows Server and IIS, including task automation.
- Follow Gitflow for version control and ensure proper code management practices.
- Apply design patterns such as State and Strategy to deliver maintainable solutions.
- Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint goals.
- Build responsive UI components using Razor and, optionally, Kendo UI.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software development with .NET technologies.
- Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET (versions 4.0 to 4.8).
- Proven experience with RESTful Web API design and implementation.
- Hands-on expertise with Identity Server for security implementations.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including stored procedures, optimization, indexes, and views.
- Familiarity with Gitflow and version control tools.
- Experience with Entity Framework for ORM and data access.
- Proficiency in managing applications on Windows Server and IIS.
- Solid understanding of design patterns, particularly State and Strategy.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Kendo UI for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
- Knowledge of Razor for UI development.
- Exposure to UATP coding challenges or similar technical evaluations.
- Prior experience in backfilling critical roles with similar .NET requirements.
