Product Designer in AUSTRALIA

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Guide a product team to impactful outcomes using design thinking methods informed by user empathy, data, and iterative testing.
• Execute end-to-end design processes, from discovery to documented design files.
• Create compelling narratives through strong storytelling backed by data.
• Embrace an open iterative design process, constantly sketching, showing work in progress, validating with customers and data, iterating, shipping, learning, and growing.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, working across multiple teams to solicit and synthesise feedback.
• Utilise data to inform and create awesome digital experiences.
• Work on an agile team, preferably using Scrum methodologies.
• Conduct evaluative user testing and drive exploratory research.
• Leverage behavioural economics and psychology perspectives to achieve customer and business outcomes.
• Use motion design and prototyping tools such as ProtoPie and After Effects to create high-fidelity prototypes and compelling animations.

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of professional product design experience, ideally with exposure to e-commerce or product-led growth contexts.
• Degree in a relevant area.
• Strong storytelling capability and ability to create compelling narratives backed by data.
• A desire to learn and grow, favouring progress over perfection.
• A T-shaped skill set with a keen instinct for balancing process and getting things done without compromising quality.
• Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with strategies for utilising data to inform digital experiences.
• Experience working on an agile team, preferably using Scrum.
• Strong evaluative user testing skills; experience in driving exploratory research is a plus.
• Experience in motion design and prototyping, using tools like ProtoPie and After Effects.

This is a 12 month, fully remote contract position.
