We're seeking a Director of AI-Driven Content Strategy to lead our content efforts across our network, spanning Google, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging AI search platforms like Perplexity. In this role, you'll develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that leverages AI tools and techniques to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content at scale.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute a data-driven content strategy that aligns with our business goals and target audiences, focusing on SEO, social media, and emerging AI platforms.
- Leverage AI tools and advanced prompting techniques to ideate, structure, research, and write high-quality, SEO-optimized content at scale.
- Collaborate with AI as a creative partner to generate innovative content ideas, outlines, and drafts that outperform competitor content.
- Serve as an in-house expert on AI-assisted content creation, educating and mentoring team members on best practices and emerging trends.
- Optimize content for search engines, ensuring best practices for on-page SEO, keyword targeting, and content structure.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Growth, and Engineering teams to ensure all product surfaces, campaigns, and content are optimized for inbound growth and conversion.
- Analyze content performance using metrics like organic traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, and use these insights to continually refine our content strategy.
About you
- 7+ years of experience in content strategy, SEO, or digital marketing, with a strong track record of driving organic growth through content.
- Deep expertise in AI-assisted content creation, with the ability to develop and refine prompts that generate high-quality, SEO-friendly content.
- Proven track record of using AI tools and prompts to create content that ranks for competitive keywords and drives organic traffic.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling, data-driven content that resonates with target audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform content strategy and optimize performance.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Growth, and Engineering teams.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in AI, SEO, and content marketing.
About the job
- Starting base salary range: $130,000 - $200,000 DOE.
- Stock options: 0.20% to 0.30% initial grant.
