Modula Technical Services Supervisor
Location of work: 1920 Mattawa Avenue, Mississauga, Ontario, L4X 1K1, including
attending client sites in the province of Ontario
Terms of employment: Permanent Full Time (Onsite)
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Wage range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually (compensation subject to annual review and increase based on inflation, cost of living, merit and performance. Compensation offered may vary depending on the applicant’s level of experience, qualifications and other factors)

Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Modula Technical Services Supervisor to join our team of skilled professionals based at out of our head office in Mississauga, Ontario. The position will require the successful applicant to visit client sites across Ontario.
Reporting to President this position will be responsible for overseeing the technical services team and ensuring efficient operations and compliance with industry standards. The position will also be responsible for managing system installations and providing technical support, as well as implementing process improvements, handling customer service issues, and managing inventory. The position requires strong technical knowledge of the Modula systems, leadership skills, communication, and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex operational environments across various technical domains.
Job Duties
· Draft out manpower management plan and scheduling projects timelines
· Develop Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for vertical lifts business
· Spare parts management setup and proposal of recommended spare parts to all customers for their own stock to recover in short times for any emergency breakdown
· Installation budget calculation for any new project proposals and summary actual costing after projects
· Preparation of quotation for spare parts, breakdown service support and Service Maintenance Contracts (SMC)
· Regular scheduled maintenance according to Modula contracts
· Dismantle & relocation projects for Modula, Megamat carousel and lift
· Troubleshooting & service support (remote and on-site) to all customers for any technical issues with the Modula and Megamat machines
· Installation of Modula WMS software and giving user training to customers
· Project proposal preparation, calculation of storage capacity, design the warehouse storage solution system (traditional pallet racking and vertical lifts) based on the customer warehouse layout by using AutoCad
· Installation of ASRS projects (electrical control systems for mechanical installation of Stacker, Crane and Railings
· Preparation and submission of the safety documents which are required for the approval of permit to works for all projects
· Maintenance and servicing of Modula Vertical Lift Machines (VLMs)
· Dismantle & relocation of Modula VLMs
· Troubleshooting and technical support for both remote support and on-site support to all customers
· Installation of WMS software, coordination with customers and Modula software support. Team for the process flow details WMS software integration with customer’s ERP system
· Spare parts management
· Technical sale support for solution design with suitable machines and the compartment designs as per the storage items’ shapes, sizes, designs and dimensions to support the quotation
· Preparing the safety documentation and Risk Management Control implementation
· Schedule technical team project timelines and manpower arrangement plan including (forklift, scissor lifts rental, installation tools, special tools, flights and hotels booking for technicians)
· Troubleshooting any errors and support / guide to technicians on site and video Modula call support
· Preparation of quotation for SMC preventive maintenance and breakdown support
Educations/skills
· University degree in Engineering or a related field
· Certification in Engineering Drawing (AutoCAD)
· Certification in Mechanical and Electrical Drawings (AutoCAD)
· 4+ years of proven experience as a Modula Technical Services Technician and/or Supervisor
· 3+ years of proven experience of servicing and maintenance of Modula VLM’s
· 3+ years of Lift Installation (minimum 20 installed units)
· Experience with Megamat machines
· Must be a reliable, organized and adaptable team player.
· Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and tight deadlines.
· Possess efficient interpersonal skills and have the ability to be client focused, organized, take initiative and be a team player
· Use of Microsoft Office products at an advanced level (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
· Proven Experience with Modula WMS Software
· Additional computer software skills required, 2D, 3D and Isometrics, Expert and Can Draw, AutoCAD
Modula Certification Required
Certification in:
· Modula Sintes Installation
· Modula Software Training (WMS)
· Modula Lift Installation
· Modula Lift 2.0 without PLE Installation
· Modula Slim Installation
