Network Administrator (NAD) - relocation to Belgium in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented Network Administrator (NAD) willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.

The ideal candidate must hold EU citizenship, possess the required certifications, and demonstrate substantial expertise in managing, monitoring, and securing network infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the seamless operation of telecommunication and computer network systems to meet the organization's communication needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain network components to ensure optimal performance.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network-related issues.
• Ensure communication performance, recovery, and security meet agreed service standards.
• Use network management tools to monitor network load and analyze performance statistics.
• Monitor traffic to identify and address bottlenecks.
• Install and upgrade network components and monitoring solutions.
• Test and validate network upgrades.

Mandatory Requirements

• EU citizenship
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 6 years in a relevant role.
• English proficiency: Minimum B2/C1 level.

Certifications:

• CCDP/CCNP, CCNA, CCDE/CCIE, CCAr, or relevant certifications of F5, Juniper, Palo Alto.
• BIG-IP Certified Administrator
• BIG-IP LTM Specialist: Maintain and Troubleshoot
• BIG-IP LTM Specialist: Architect, Set up, Deploy
• SANS Certification related to Network Security

Knowledge and Skills

• Network Administration: Strong knowledge of network systems, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, and communication protocols.
• Network Security: Expertise in VPN implementation, cipher techniques, and network security best practices.
• Device and Service Management: Experience operating routers, switches, load balancers, accelerators, firewalls, and crypto communication devices.
• Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and traffic management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
