System Administrator (SAD) - relocation to Belgium in PORTUGAL

We are seeking a talented System Administrator (SAD) willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.


The ideal candidate must be an EU citizen holding at least a bachelor's degree in an IT-related field. The role focuses on administering ICT system components related to hosting services, ensuring seamless service delivery through installation, configuration, and upgrades of ICT systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to contribute to the stability and security of our organization's ICT systems.


Responsibilities

  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve system-related issues.
  • Install and upgrade infrastructure software, including monitoring solutions.
  • Test and validate system upgrades.
  • Schedule and execute installation work with minimal disruption to services.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot hardware or software issues.
  • Adhere to organizational procedures to maintain system integrity and security.
  • Install, maintain, and support data center hardware infrastructure (e.g., servers, enclosures, UPS, patch panels, tape libraries, cabling).


Mandatory Requirements

  • EU citizenship
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in a relevant role.
  • English proficiency: Minimum B2/C1 level.


Certifications:

  • SolarWinds Certified Professional
  • MCSE/MCSA: Windows Server 2012 or newer
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA®) or higher
  • Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC-1) or above
  • Oracle Certified Professional Oracle Linux
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP5-CMA or above)
  • NetApp Certified Data Administrator
  • Dell Systems Administrator (DCS-SA) / Platform Engineer (DCS-PE)
  • Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS)
