Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer (UK-Based, Fully Remote)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum
Location: Fully remote (must be UK-based)
We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our innovative team. You’ll be working on cutting-edge analytics software in a collaborative environment with daily stand-ups and peer reviews, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement, despite the fully remote nature of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure and Security: Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions to support modern analytics software.
- DevOps Practices: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient deployment and reducing downtime.
- Collaboration: Contribute actively in team discussions, daily stand-ups, and peer reviews to ensure successful project delivery.
- Automation and Containerisation: Utilise tools like Kubernetes and Docker to deploy, scale, and manage applications efficiently.
- Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure.
- Cloud Expertise: Work across AWS and Azure, with opportunities to explore and integrate additional cloud platforms and tools.
Core Skills Required:
- AWS and Azure
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Docker
- .NET/C#
- Database management (SQL/Postgres)
Desirable Skills:
- KeyCloak for authentication and identity management
- Helm for Kubernetes package management
- Python (preferred for scripting and automation)
- React for front-end collaboration
- Google Cloud (experience or interest in multi-cloud setups)
