Role Overview
We’re seeking a talented L2/L3 Support Engineer with advanced expertise in web server management and application deployment. This role requires proficiency with a range of web servers, applications, and frameworks, including OpenLiteSpeed, NGINX, Apache, and Caddy, as well as the ability to deploy and support diverse applications built with Django, Node.js, Flask, Express.js, and Ruby on Rails. You will also manage popular CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, and Ghost.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 technical support for web servers and application hosting environments.
Manage, configure, and troubleshoot OpenLiteSpeed, NGINX, Apache, Caddy, and other web servers.
Deploy, maintain, and optimize applications built with frameworks like Django, Node.js, Flask, Express.js, Ruby on Rails, and Spring Boot.
Install, configure, and enhance CMS platforms, including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Ghost, and Shopify.
Handle server migrations, updates, and custom configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve DNS, SSL, email configurations, and database issues.
Perform root cause analysis and propose solutions for recurring issues.
Document processes, troubleshooting guides, and solutions for internal use.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a technical support or system administration role, especially in hosting environments.
Strong proficiency with web servers such as OpenLiteSpeed, NGINX, Apache, and Caddy.
Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining applications built on Django, Node.js, Flask, Express.js, and other frameworks.
Expertise in managing CMS platforms, including WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Ghost, and Shopify.
Solid understanding of DNS management, SSL certificates, and database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with email systems and protocols (IMAP, SMTP, POP3).
Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls) and log analysis.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
IT certifications (e.g., RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar).
