Software Engineer in FRANCE

TL;DR

We are looking for Software Engineers to help us build the world’s leading B2B identity solution.

📍 Location: full-remote or Paris (we have an office in Paris 9th district)

💰Offer: 60.000 - 100.000 € / year depending on profile + significant stock options / BSPCE

About Us

Ondorse is building the world’s first business identity solution that helps reveal who really is behind a business and stop money from ending in the hands of fraudsters and money launderers.

We launched our product in mid-2022 and are experiencing strong market traction across various verticals: banks, fintechs, insurance companies, marketplaces or public agencies.

We are excited about what is to come: we’re at the right place at the right time, there’s a lot to invent and build, and we’re looking for someone to do it with us.

Your Role

As an early member of our engineering team (currently 8 engineers), you will contribute directly to the development of our orchestration platform. This includes a REST API (FastAPI), an orchestration service, a ReactJS frontend and many connectors to third-party APIs (data and service providers).

You will work closely with customers and the rest of the team (including founders) to make the right architectural and technical decisions, and give our customers the best possible experience.

Some of our challenges:

• Make our data infrastructure stable, reliable and scalable so that we can keep solving real problems and sustain our growth
• Scale the number of third-party integrations/API partners without impacting velocity
• Develop no-code tools so our users can (easily!) configure dozens of integrations within the UI
• Suggest and lead the development of new sets of features, turning complex business requirements into simple user experiences
• Keep shipping fast and manage growing complexity as we add more features and customers

The Tech

We use Python (FastAPI/Celery), TypeScript, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes on AWS.

You don’t need to be proficient with all these tools as long as you are willing to learn and work with them.

On the tech team:

• We try to think from first principles when approaching a complex problem
• We first figure out the problems our users need help with, then tackle them - big or small!
• We take full ownership of features, from early product design to production and beyond
• We build for the long term, write tests, review code, and strive to ship iteratively and consistently

Requirements

You would be a good fit for Ondorse if most of this sounds like you:

• You want to build a product that makes a difference for its users (a fast-growing number of them!), every day. You have high quality standards for this.
• You are a ‘team player’: you write mindful comments on tricky code, share debugging tools you use, and are happy to explain technical concepts to a coworker.
• You have extensive experience writing web applications (with Python or any other language), and with relational databases.
• You like understanding the tools you use and are not afraid to peek into the source code of a library.
• You are willing to work in an English-speaking environment (you don’t need to speak French).

Compensation & Perks 🌈

We have a strong writing culture so we can work as a team asynchronously and remotely (European timezone). Where and to some extent when you work is up to you. If you want to work from a fixed permanent location, we will welcome you in our offices located in the heart of Paris.

The estimated salary for this role, for someone Paris based, is between €60,000 and €100,000. That could be adjusted for an outlier profile.

You will receive significant equity. We have allocated a significant pool of equity dedicated to employee grants.
