A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Utilizing SQL/Python to develop high-performing queries capable of running on large datasets. Troubleshooting existing queries and devising strategies to enhance query performance and ensure data integrity.
- Identifying, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from various sources to extract valuable insights and patterns. Applying statistical techniques and data mining algorithms to uncover trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Designing, developing, and deploying predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to address business challenges and improve decision-making processes. This includes feature selection, model training, validation, and optimization.
- Translating complex data findings into clear, actionable insights tailored for stakeholders across the organization.
- Fostering close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, engineers, product managers, and business leaders to understand their data needs and deliver analytical solutions. Engaging in joint projects and initiatives that require data-driven decision-making.
- Writing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data-related projects.
- Contributing to the upkeep of the existing analytics ecosystem to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
- Identifying and defining opportunities for process enhancements.
- Offering guidance to colleagues on matters related to data. Providing assistance to personnel from other departments.
You’re good at
- Extensive knowledge about how to write efficient queries in SQL. Experience in using Python, including libraries like Pandas, Numpy, sklearn. General knowledge of relational databases (Postgres) and database architecture
- Industry experience in data science and machine learning, preferably within iGaming.
- You're adept at owning Data Science projects from start to finish. You have a proven capability for extracting valuable insights from user data, building and deploying machine learning models and translating these findings into actionable business strategies that have led to positive outcomes.
- You're great at problem-solving, showcasing the ability to work independently and take responsibility. You're flexible and readily adapt to changing priorities when necessary. Moreover, you possess a collaborative spirit and thrive in cross-functional team environments, fostering effective teamwork.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
