About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Engineer with proven experience building teams and delivering projects in complex, high-performance environments. This role requires expertise across a wide range of technologies, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices. You will play a critical role in shaping the platform’s architecture and lead by example to inspire technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of Vaultoro’s platform and trading systems.
• Build and grow the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Own the end-to-end technical stack, including backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability through best practices in DevOps and DevSecOps.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments using Kubernetes and Google Cloud.
• Develop and optimize applications using Node.js, Golang, Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Implement robust and efficient database systems with Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Lead security-first development practices, including regular audits and compliance.
• Report directly to the CTO and collaborate with leadership to define technical strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering complex projects and scaling production systems.
• Demonstrated expertise with Node.js, Golang, Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response.
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps, integrating security into all stages of development.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Solid expertise in database technologies: Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of best practices for trading systems and financial platforms.
• Strong track record of building and mentoring engineering teams.
• Ability to showcase recent projects that demonstrate your technical and leadership skills.
