What are we looking for?
Skills Required
Hands-on software development experience in ASP.NET (C#)/MVC/.NET Core 3.1 and above
Hands-on experience in Web Service/Web API/Azure Service Fabric (REST/JSON/XML)
Work Experience using Vue.js or other client-side framework (using Typescript and NodeJS)
Working experience on Microsoft 365 (Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 & Common Data Model/Services, Power Apps (Canvas/Model) & Power Automate)
Strong database development experience including SQL (DB/Tables/Stored procedures/SQL Jobs)
Experience with Azure Cloud platform
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD
Working experience with Dev Tools - Visual Studio/VS Code/Postman/ VSTS/ Browser dev tools/ PowerShell
Nice To Have
Familiarity with Domain Driven Design
Working experience on integration with 3rd party providers (by API, SFTP, etc)
Certifications in either .Net/.Net Core/MVC with SQL is a plus
Good understanding of the SDLC & Agile methodology
What will you do?
Work closely within a team developing innovative software solutions to support every part of the business, from manufacturing, logistics, and finance to retail. This role involves providing technical expertise related to the design, development and support of internally developed applications and systems including SharePoint
The role also supports all other Information Technology Initiatives whilst actively participating with the resolution of escalated tickets.
Participate in health and safety programs as required.
Proactively identify and report hazards in the workplace
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
Preparing and providing comprehensive installation instructions, scripts and development release details for all internally developed applications
Lead by example and work with the technology team, all business units required, BA’s and Head of IT Delivery to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions that meet business needs and quality standards.
Creating efficient, scalable, reusable middle tier logic using any of ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, XML, C#, Java, T-SQL and other languages as needed.
Creating and designing databases, views, stored procedures, T-SQL statements and user-defined functions of varying complexity with a “best practices” approach to keys, indexes and relationships in Microsoft SQL Design documentation must be updated to include any design changes made throughout the development process.
