Network Architect in AMSTERDAM AREA

New Year, New Opportunity!

One of our clients in the High Frequency Trading space has recently opened a role for Network Architects to join their Amsterdam team. The role will be centred around designing Network Architecture solutions for their Ultra Low Latency Infrastructure to enable them to execute trades effectively. Automation work will also be a major responsibility, and the successful candidate will be a strong Automation scripter with the ability to write without reliance on internet / library resources.

The compensation package on offer has no top end and the client is able to offer an uplift on current earnings and they are offering a comprehensive relocation package including visa sponsorship and coverage of moving costs for those outside of the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Design, Deploy and Maintain Low Latency Network Infrastructure.
• Research and Implement Network Optimisations.
• Act as a SME in supporting the trading team's Infrastructure requirements.
• Ensure efficient connectivity between global data centres and build new connectivity.
• Rebuild and redesign LAN Networks and Data Centre Networks.

Requirements

• Global WAN/LAN Connectivity Experience.
• Experience working with vendors, ideally Cisco and/or Arista.
• Low Latency Network Design experience.
• TCP/UDP troubleshooting experience.
• Routing Protocol experience such as OSPF and BGP.
• Network Protocol experience such as Multicast or Spanning Tree.
• Python Automation proficiency without reliance on PyLibraries or Internet resources.
