After exiting that firm in late 2023, our client is now building the company that will transform how the world approaches meetings. This new venture will turn meetings into a force for accomplishing great work.

The role is based onsite in Boise, Idaho. Relocation assistance is available.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

MISSION

Serve as our CEO’s key partner in establishing clear design architecture and UX direction before coding begins, laying the foundation to deliver an elegant and beautiful product.

OBJECTIVES

• Create design language and build a unified design system for user interface components.

• Build the design system in a flexible and modular fashion, architected to fit our future product vision, and leveraging best practices to optimize for phone, tablet, web and desktop use cases.

• Design each aspect of the product and be ready to hand over design specs and guides to our product team engineers as they begin to build the product.

• Play a key role in shaping our product’s functionality, and how that flows with its look and feel.

• Bonus: handle other miscellaneous creative design tasks for the company, such as presentation slides, key documents, logos, signs, or other materials.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (Must-haves)

• Systems-oriented thinking to design a flexible and modular design system

• Ability to grasp the future scope of the product and see where it might grow

• Deep understanding of the principles of responsive design

HIGHLY VALUED COMPETENCIES (Nice-to-have but not required)

• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility and performance considerations

• Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

• Front-end engineering skills for building out a React component library

• CSS animation skills

• Creative design skills for print and digital media
