Data Scientist - Supply Chain in SPAIN

Based in Spain - Madrid or Barcelona - with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements (2 days on, 3 days off). Do not fail to apply if you are not Spanish and live outside Spain! As long as you have permission to work in the country .

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with expertise in AI and Machine Learning (ML) and hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms.

In this role, you will develop and deploy scalable AI models to solve critical business challenges, with a specific focus on Supply Chain Planning.

Your work will enhance forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory management, and support decision-making processes through predictive analytics, ultimately driving efficiency and value across supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities :

As the Data Scientist you will be responsible for selling and developing projects in Supply Chain Planning with focus on:

• Develop and deploy AI and ML solutions tailored to supply chain challenges, such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and scenario planning.

• Leverage advanced analytics to analyse large datasets, identify trends, segment products, and evaluate the impact of promotions and campaigns.

• Evaluate and implement AI vendor solutions, assessing their strengths, maturity, and suitability for specific supply chain use cases.

• Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models that integrate with data lakes, external sources, and transactional systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI/ML models with key business objectives, ensuring actionable insights and measurable value.

• Present findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, enabling data-driven decision-making.

• Participate in international projects with important clients in the Industry sector (Retail, Consumer Products, Life Science & Healthcare, Automotive, Heavy Manufacturing…)

Required Skills :

• 1+ years of previous experience in large-scale AI/ML project implementations.

• AI and Machine Learning Expertise: Proven experience in developing AI and ML models for supply chain use cases, such as forecasting, segmentation, and optimization.

• Supply Chain Knowledge: Interest in supply chain and operations functions (planning, sourcing & procurement, warehousing logistics, transportations, manufacturing, etc.).

• Cloud Platforms: Advanced proficiency in deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability and seamless integration.

• Technical Proficiency: Programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with a solid understanding of data pipelines and cloud-native architectures.

• AI Vendor Knowledge: Deep familiarity with leading AI vendors and their tools, with knowledge of implementation examples across sectors.

• Data Architecture: Expertise in integrating AI/ML solutions with data lakes, external sources, and ERP systems to create end-to-end architectures.

• Fluent in English and Spanish
