Head of Storytelling (Writer, Romance/Erotica) in AUSTRALIA

Launched less than 6 months ago, HeraHaven has quickly grown to one of leading AI companion apps. Our user base has reached hundreds of thousands of users, mainly across the US & Europe.

In our app, users are able to create AI-powered characters, customize their appearance and personality, and chat or roleplay with them via a chatbot interface.

We’re a very small team of just a few people and are looking for someone to lead writing & storytelling on our platform. You will be given an opportunity to not just be competitively compensated, but also expose your work to hundreds of thousands of people.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and can take full ownership of the creative direction of our app. Initially, you will be working alone and report to our CEO, but we have plans of expanding this team during 2025.

This is a fully remote opportunity.

Role:

• Design captivating characters with a fitting appearance and backstory
• Write and refine AI prompts to enhance the chatting experience
• Review existing training data & create new training data to teach our AI models

As part of this role, you will need to write both short-form and long-form content, as well as review and edit existing content.

Background:

• Fluent in English (native or bilingual level)
• A passion for storytelling and fiction writing
• Experience in romance or erotica genres
• Ideally, experience in roleplaying and ERP in particular
• A strong pulse on internet trends, memes, and modern lingo
• The ability to work independently and own the creative direction

Education (not strictly required, but preferred):

• BA/BS degree in English, communications, HCI, journalism, or another writing-intensive humanities discipline.
