Position Summary:
This role serves as the first point of contact and the face of the HR department, providing essential administrative support. Key responsibilities include record-keeping, file maintenance, managing the HR email inbox, and HRIS entry. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong multitasking abilities, exceptional efficiency, organizational skills, and a desire to grow in their HR career .
Essential Functions:
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing employee requests and questions.
- Manage the HR inbox daily, responding to inquiries and escalating as necessary.
- Offer clerical support to the HR department as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of the performance review process.
- Support the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process.
- Assist with New Hire Orientation.
- Provide administrative support to the HRIS Manager by maintaining accurate employee data in the HRIS system, running reports, and assisting with system audits to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with Employee and/or Department Audits.
- Assist in updating/growing the Liberty HR board in Workvivo.
- File documents in appropriate employee files.
- Support the Benefits Manager by coordinating benefit enrollment processes, resolving employee inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of benefits plans and changes.
- Prepare correspondence as requested.
- Create and maintain all employee files.
- Keep the HR shared drive organized and up to date.
- Process mail.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities, including booking venues, arranging travel accommodations, and preparing event materials.
- Stay informed on compliance issues, including changes in federal and local laws.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant HR experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in DocuSign is a plus.
- Proved ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with strong independent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Previous experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with Paycom is a plus.
