You will help our business react to changing business conditions with excellent data analysis. You will define the requirements, perform the analysis and identify patterns in large amounts of data.
How You Will Contribute
You will:
- Define requirements for analysis in a given business area and perform detailed analysis and identify trends defined in the requirements
- Identify patterns and help the business react to changing business conditions
- Perform root-cause analysis and interpret data
- Work with large amounts of data such as facts, figures, and mathematics/formulas and undertake analytical activities and delivers analysis outputs in accordance with customer needs and conforming to established standards
- Understand and be involved with aspects of the data science process
- As the investigator on the data science team, you will apply your knowledge of languages and pull data out of SQL databases, using Tableau/Power BI type tools, and producing basic data visualizations and reporting dashboards

- Develop key performance indicators and create visualizations of the data

Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning:
- Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract insights and solve complex supply chain problems.
- Develop and deploy predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain risk management.
- Implement algorithms for anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and optimization to drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
Cloud-Based Machine Learning Solutions:
- Demonstrate proficiency in leveraging cloud-based machine learning platforms and services (e.g., Amazon SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning) for developing, deploying, and managing ML models.
- Experience with building and deploying scalable ML pipelines on cloud infrastructure, including data preprocessing, model training, and inference.
- Familiarity with cloud-native tools for model versioning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure the reliability and performance of ML applications in production environments.
Prescriptive Analytics and Optimization:
- Develop prescriptive analytics models to recommend optimal decisions and actions for supply chain planning and execution.
- Leverage optimization techniques such as linear programming, integer programming, and simulation to solve supply chain optimization problems.
- Collaborate with operations research experts to develop decision support tools and algorithms for strategic supply chain planning.
Supply Chain Analytics:
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify factors impacting supply chain performance, such as supplier reliability, transportation constraints, and production bottlenecks.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimization initiatives based on data-driven insights.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Create dashboards and reports to communicate key supply chain metrics, performance trends, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
