Automation Engineer (OCR)

Your main accountabilities:- Autonomous End2End delivery and development of advanced automation solutions
- Analysis of customer requirements and design of tailor-made automation solution
- Own, establish, and govern the development and operation standards
- Initiate and drive R&D for automation solutions like ML/AI, RPA, Smart Data Extraction
- Evaluation and realization of process improvements to ensure cost reduction and increase of efficiency and/or quality.
- Apply our automation solution portfolio (e.g. ABBYY Flexicapture, Blue Prism)
- Deliver consulting and trainings in the area of expertise (Automation/ Digitalization/ Innovation and Business Architecture)
- Creating and maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure future sales
- Presenting automation solutions to customers and management
To be successful in this role, you should have:- min. Bachelors´ degree, ideally in the IT field (not a must)
- fluent written and spoken English; (German is a big plus)
- at least 3 years of experience within the IT area (Technology, Automation, Digitalization, IT Consulting)
- experience with complex international solution delivery/from a shared services environment
- knowledge of programming languages Visual Basic Net, C#, SQL - beneficial
- experience with scripting languages like Python/JavaScript/PowerShell - beneficial
- experience with RPA solutions like Blue Prism, UI Patch or Automation Anywhere – beneficial
- experience with Public Clouds (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud), Integration platforms (Microservice, API, SoaBP), Automation tools (Front End Assistant), Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (KNIME, ABBYY), Process Mining tools (Celonis) – beneficial
- knowledge about database/data fields/tables/report creations in SAP is an advantage
- experience in the business processes and operations of a finance SSC – beneficial
- you are not afraid of consulting for the internal or external customers
- ability to work independently and as well in team cooperation
- strong analytical and conceptual skills
- responsibility, with high performance, results, and a customer-oriented approach
