Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Content Manager to join the team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in amplifying the client's message and building a strong online presence across various platforms. You will be responsible for the entire content lifecycle, from (basic) video editing and content creation to social media strategy and audience engagement.
Part-time: 20 hours per week
100% remote job / independent contractor
Working hours: Flexible hours (Australia working hours)
Monthly Starting Salary: $600, slightly flexible depending on level of experience
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy across all platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) with a strong focus on LinkedIn.
Create a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely publishing.
Create engaging and optimized content (posts, videos, articles) that drives audience engagement, thought leadership, and business results.
Edit weekly live stream recordings, including adding subtitles, creating engaging intros/outros, and incorporating graphics.
Transcribe videos and repurpose content into high-quality blog posts, LinkedIn articles, social media captions, and other formats (e.g., Reels, short-form videos).
Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure all content aligns with the brand identity and messaging.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
2 years of experience in content marketing, social media management, and video editing, preferably gained in a corporate setting.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media strategies, particularly on LinkedIn.
Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva).
Deep understanding of the social media algorithm, best practices, and audience engagement.
Solid background in digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media advertising (optional), and content marketing best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with impeccable English grammar and fluency.
