Machine Learning Engineer
Starting date: 01.06.2024 or earlier
Our compensation package: €60,000 - €65,000 in yearly salary, €10,000 - €30,000 in equity. Additionally up to €5,000 p.a. in company benefits

Your role
You build a robust, scalable, and automated ML platform for our AI-based MRI solution. You work closely with data scientists and software engineers to ship the best-performing machine learning models to production. You establish monitoring strategies and ensure model performance. With your production-oriented mindset and drive for impact you unlock the next stage in scalable AI-powered MRI imaging.
Your day-to-day
In your daily activities, you will:
- Build and improve code for training ML models, prioritizing modularity, scalability and robustness
- Collaborate with data scientists in training and fine-tuning ML models
- Optimize and troubleshoot production ML code and models, focusing on latency and memory footprint
- Deploy and monitor ML models in production, ensuring model stability
- Adopt new tools and best practices in the area of machine learning and data processing

Your Experiences And Skills Your Experiences And Skills
ML lifecycle
- You have solid knowledge of pytorch and ML experiment-tracking tools
- You know how to build and optimize a model training pipeline
- You are familiar with tools for ML in production and model deployment
Coding
- You have strong python coding skills: you write modular tested software and follow best practices in documentation and formatting
- You are confident with version control tools like git
- You have experience with Docker and other tools for reproducible environments
- You have worked with CI/CD pipelines
What Makes You Stand Out From Other Candidates
Data fluency
- You have worked with 3D/2D image data, MRI data formats (dicom/nifti)
- You are familiar with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana and use them to visualize relevant performance metrics in production
