The Sales Development Manager (SDM) will be responsible for managing a team of remote Sales Development Representatives and achieving rater8's high-growth sales goals. The SDM will plan and manage initiatives, objectives, training, and direction that support and enable the SDR team’s targeted outbound efforts, reporting to the Director of Sales Development. The SDM will onboard and directly oversee a team of Sales Development Representatives and will be responsible for ensuring they meet their goals both individually and as a team.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and review sales activity to make sure SDRs are achieving quota while providing a professional and knowledgeable interface with the healthcare community
- Coach SDRs on proper selling techniques including identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, communicating effectively, and booking meetings
- Coordinate and lead daily/weekly/monthly team meetings and activities
- Motivate staff through recognition/rewards for outstanding productivity and achievement of key goals
- Oversee the tracking and reporting of key sales and operational metrics and updates to CRM
- Work closely with the Director of Sales Development and the Marketing team to ensure the sales team has the tools, support, and education needed to perform optimally
- Hire, train, assess, and evaluate staff performance
- Coach staff and ensure proactive, thoughtful, and appropriately paced development plans are built to leverage skills, support career growth and contribute to employee retention
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS experience.Ideally, 1+ years of experience supervising a team of SDRs
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Experience in project management (preferred)
- Experience in SaaS, reputation management, or healthtech is preferred
- Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM software
- Adaptive, resilient and able to succeed in a fast-paced, changing, dynamic environment
- Skilled at collaborating with and influencing cross-functional working groups
- Proven ability to deliver results by identifying opportunities to scale growth and meet/exceed KPI targets
- Ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a commission-driven position
- Experience introducing new solutions to medical practices and healthcare providers is a plus
- Experience selling healthcare reputation management solutions is desirable
- Must reside and be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship and must not currently reside in California
