This team’s mission is to uphold one of our core promises to Hosts: providing the most intuitive and user-friendly Property Management System for small Hosts. This means creating and maintaining a seamless experience for them to:
- Connect their Vacation Rental properties to multiple OTA Channels.
- Monitor bookings and pricing
- Communicate effortlessly with guests.
Simply put, we aim to make their journey as smooth and straightforward as possible.
As a Front-End Engineer in this team, you will tackle challenges such as::
- Collaborating with Product, Design, and Host Relations teams to identify and address pain points in our application, devising practical solutions to improve the user experience.
- Developing new Host-to-Guest communication tools that enable Hosts to interact with their Guests in any language and on any device they prefer.
- Iterating and experimenting on the new user onboarding experience to ensure Hosts quickly fall in love with our platform.
How You’ll Add Value
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to refine requirements, breaking work into clear milestones, identifying potential blockers
- Writing clean, high-quality, maintainable code
- Conducting code reviews and engaging in pair programming with fellow engineers to share knowledge and develop new skills
- Implementing and improving our Testing Strategy through Unit, Integration, and Functional testing
You’ll be successful in this role if you
- Have 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development
- Possess excellent JavaScript knowledge with the ability to mentor junior engineers on standards, best practices, and patterns
- Bring enterprise-level experience with React (preferably) or TypeScript, Angular etc
- Are comfortable extending existing PHP User Interfaces
- Understand the modern API design patterns
- Aren’t afraid to ask questions and bring your own opinions which you’re comfortable sharing with other highly skilled engineers
- Are fluent in English
