Oval Games is focused on creating UK Short Oval Circuit motor racing games that are closely based on real motorsport classes. The upcoming release, Oval Racer Series - Sandbox, embodies this commitment. We aim to provide an immersive gaming experience for motorsport enthusiasts.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Unreal Engine 5 Developer at Oval Games. The developer will be responsible for implementing game features, optimizing performance, and debugging issues. Additionally, they will collaborate with the owner to ensure a seamless gaming experience. The game is 50% complete, you won't be starting from nothing.

The game is already on Steam as early access, your profit share will start as soon as you join.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 development
• Experience with game feature implementation and optimization
• Strong debugging skills
• Knowledge of 3D math and physics for game development
• Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of C++ and Blueprints scripting in Unreal Engine
• Passion for gaming and motorsports
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
