We are seeking a talented Software Technical Manager for our client in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of proven experience in managing and leading technical teams, delivering complex software projects, and aligning technology strategies with business goals. This role combines technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic planning to ensure the successful execution of scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Expertise:

Oversee Development Across a Range Of Technologies

  • Frontend: ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, React Hooks, Flutter (Mobile Apps).
  • Backend: Java, Spring Framework, Odoo, Camunda BPM.
  • Database: PostgreSQL.
  • DevOps: Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure solutions are designed with a Mobile-first approach and comply with Web Content Accessibility.
  • Guide the implementation of microservices architecture for scalable applications.
  • Work closely with design teams using Figma to ensure user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead and manage technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the development teams.
  • Technical Oversight:
  • Provide technical direction and ensure adherence to industry best practices, organizational standards, and emerging trends in software development.
  • Oversee integration efforts, ensuring interoperability between various technologies and seamless data flow.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Define technical roadmaps, set project milestones, and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance practices and performance optimization techniques.
  • Project Management:
  • Utilize Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Use project management tools like Jira and Confluence to manage workflows and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (required).
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science (preferred).

Certifications

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • PMP.
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

Experience

  • 15+ years of experience managing and leading technical teams, with a proven track record of delivering complex software projects.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, technical roadmaps, and aligning technology with business goals.
  • Extensive experience in Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies, cloud computing, enterprise systems, and modern development frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using tools like Jira and Confluence for project and documentation management.

Skills

  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
