Who we’re looking for


We’re seeking a Senior SEO Growth Strategist to lead our search-driven content efforts across our network, spanning Google, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging AI search platforms like Perplexity.


In this role, you’ll strategize and execute tentpole SEO content campaigns focusing on proprietary data and insights garnered from ShopGraph, our rich e-commerce database containing insights on millions of products, offers, and transactions. You’ll leverage AI tools and workflows to produce journalistic-level content with minimal resources and maximum velocity.


You’ll also be our internal expert for inbound search UX, collaborating with Product, Design, Growth, and Engineering teams to ensure all product surfaces, campaigns, and content are optimized and aligned with our inbound growth strategies and goals. You’ll collaborate with our Data Analytics and Data Science teams to extract insights from data to inform and inspire 10x content campaigns.


What you’ll do


  • Serve as head of content and editorial for our blogs, across our network of e-commerce properties.
  • Combine your journalistic writing skills with AI workflows, tools, and prompting strategies to produce human-level content with maximum velocity. Your editing skills and attention-to-detail are critical, as you want every article to be expert-quality and a good reader experience.
  • Lead, define, and execute our inbound growth strategies, set clear metrics, collaborate with internal teams to ensure inbound search is deeply embedded in our user experiences and campaigns. Align with social media teams to ensure our YouTube, TikTok, and other social content is optimized for inbound engagement and conversions.
  • Identify SEO growth opportunities across upper and lower funnels, spanning engagement, traffic acquisition, conversion, and citations-based topical authority building objectives.
  • Execute hub-and-spoke campaigns for competitive keywords while ensuring we’re optimized to capture long-tail traffic.
  • Serve as an in-house expert in SEO, ensuring strong on-page and off-page optimization across our product surfaces.
  • Report on performance and outcomes of content campaigns both in terms of traffic and business KPIs.


About you


  • Background in journalism, SEO, content writing, or content strategy.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, including on-page SEO, keyword research and keyword strategy development, search engine algorithms and ranking factors, familiarity with more technical concepts including technical SEO is preferred.
  • Track record of delivering tentpole 10x content that has driven successful SEO results in competitive spaces.
  • Expert level AI prompting capabilities. You’ve developed your own proprietary workflows and strategies to execute human-level content at scale with minimal resources.
  • You yourself are a top-tier writer and keyword strategist, capable of personally producing content that ranks in competitive spaces.
  • You want to work in a small team of do-ers, focusing 95% on productive work that matters, with minimal time spent on process, approvals, or internal advocacy of the importance of SEO.
  • You’re a content creator with a deep interest in product strategy and user experience. You think like a product designer, and would love to have impact on product success.
  • You want to work for an organization that believes in SEO from the ground up, formulating its entire product strategy with inbound search as pillar, where you can play a pivotal role within the organization as an inbound search expert, advising on product UX, product strategy, growth strategy, and content campaigns.


About the job


  • Starting base salary range: $130,000 - $200,000 DOE.
  • Stock options: 0.20% to 0.30% initial grant.
