We are seeking a talented Business Analyst willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.


For this role you should have experience with the Anomaly Detection (AD) business area.

AD specializes in developing API and portal-based services that detect and resolve payment anomalies early, ensuring seamless and secure end-to-end payment experiences for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including market experts, software engineers, and customer support teams, to analyze, validate, and define functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Continuously assess evolving business environments and technical constraints to provide optimized solutions.
  • Develop and maintain conceptual models, including functional and data architectures, to guide product development.
  • Contribute to product backlog management alongside Product Owners, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay updated on market and technology trends within the financial services domain, leveraging insights to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Act as a product expert throughout the software delivery lifecycle, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role requiring deep technical expertise and strong business acumen.
  • Extensive experience in functional and non-functional requirements specification, functional and data design, user story development, and stakeholder management.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Prior experience in financial services or financial crime prevention is an advantage.
  • Solution Modeling & Visualization: Proficiency in UML, Sparx EA, SAP LeanIX, or similar tools.
  • Data Modeling & Governance: Expertise in tools like Idera ER/Studio, Collibra, or equivalent.
  • API Specification: Strong knowledge of standards such as OpenAPI and tools like Swagger.
  • Agile Planning: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
  • Team Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with platforms like Confluence and MS Teams.
  • Behavior-Driven Development (BDD): Knowledge of tools like Cucumber is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
