Core Product Management Lead in UNITED KINGDOM

Visa sponsorship & Relocation 8 months ago

Samsung Food is a Food Platform that helps millions of users worldwide find and save recipes, connect with like-minded foodie communities, and save time and money on planning, cooking, and shopping. You’ll find Samsung Food across various devices including mobile apps, web, voice, Samsung Family-Hub fridges, and more.

We’re a fully-owned, independently-operated Samsung subsidiary (acquired in 2019) primed to grow on top of Samsung’s global resources and hardware ecosystem, and we’re looking for a world-class cross-functional collaborator with startup agility and a strong UX sensibility to bring our highly-rated native app experiences to tens of millions of TVs, wearables, and kitchen appliances in the years to come.

Our team is a remote-first, globally distributed team of 100+ people based in the US, UK, Europe, Africa, Korea, Georgia, and everywhere in between. We’ve been fully distributed since 2016 and pioneered plenty of the practices that are commonplace in remote workplaces today.

Do you want to know more about how we build a team that works together, and apart? Visit Samsung Food to find out.

We're looking for a Core Product Management Lead to be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution plan along our core cooking and nutrition service journeys. We’re creating the Core Product team to discover the needs of our target users and bring solutions to market with partner Samsung teams by scaling our API platform to support global-scale experiences.

This role reports to the Head of Product.

Join us at Samsung Food as we build a more sustainable future by inspiring home cooks everywhere to tackle holistic health through nutrition and reduce food waste.

  • Constantly drive product ideation, using the Samsung Food web and native apps to experiment with solutions that, when successful, will be deployed across multi-device experiences (MDEs) shipped on Samsung hardware.
  • Develop release roadmaps, anchored to major device launches, that are accessible to diverse stakeholders across Samsung’s global divisions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering leaders to shape our platform domains and set up your team to make principled prioritization decisions for domain backlogs.
  • Work closely with the Growth team to leverage Samsung’s broader strategy for Samsung Food’s business growth and provide thoughtful feedback on Growth team experiments.
  • Facilitate the tooling needs of data teams developing key food ontology and nutrition data assets.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience advocating for your ideas to a broad range of global stakeholders.
