FacIT FixIT provides custom-tailored IT support and infrastructure engineering services with a focus on building long-term relationships with customers.


We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Team Lead to join our growing team supporting a major American client. This is not just a managerial role—you will actively contribute as an engineer while leading a small team of talented professionals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead by example by contributing to hands-on engineering tasks while guiding your team to success.


  • Team Management: Mentor and support your team to ensure efficient collaboration and delivery of high-quality results.


  • Operations Oversight: Oversee 24x7 production support, ensuring effective environment monitoring, production control, and system health checks.


  • Change Management: Actively participate in deployment processes, attend Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, and manage dependencies and documentation.


  • Incident Management: Take the lead during production-related incidents, acting as the Incident Commander for major issues and providing technical guidance for resolution.


  • Continuous Improvement: Drive technical enhancements by improving operational processes, automating tasks, and refining monitoring frameworks.


  • Performance Reporting: Track and report on team and system performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).


  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary technical and managerial point of contact for escalations, service issues, and performance discussions with the client.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A hands-on engineer with leadership experience, preferably in IT operations or SRE roles.


  • Strong technical expertise in AWS administration, Azure administration, Linux, and Windows systems.


  • Proficiency in tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Skybot, GoAnywhere, and ServiceNow.


  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems while managing team dynamics.


  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.


  • Experience with SRE practices, incident management, and driving operational improvements.
