We recently launched digital banks and wallets in multiple markets to enhance our customers’ experiences with a cutting-edge digital Ecosystem. As the Associate Manager in the Integrations Engineering team, your primary responsibility will be to establish core digital banking and wallet solutions globally, while also mentoring and providing help to other junior associates. This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with design, technology, program, business, regions, marketing, compliance and legal.
Role Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
- Execute to success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation, and efficient decision-making.
- Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers.
- Strong emphasis on customer journey, quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
- Experience defining projects and requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and coordinating projects across teams.
- Experience working with technical cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, UI/UX, Program Management, etc.) and cross-organization teams.
- Skilled in breaking down complex subject matters for non-technical audiences, clearly explaining ideas, creating compelling arguments, and delivering visual and verbal information for maximum impact.
- Independently lead the system development effort by providing vision to the team, outlining work in the backlog, and coordinating with the business owner to prioritize based on business value.
- Experience using agile scrum methodology drafting business requirements, prioritizing features, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with cross-functional team members.
Role Requirements
- Overall 6+ years of professional experience .
- 3+ experience in managing technical and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; effective manager of people and strong team-building skills.
- Hands-on experience in building a microservices based architecture and platform developed and deployed at scale Hands-on experience in building a microservices based architecture and platform developed and deployed at scale.
- Experience with J2EE technologies, JDBC, ORM, JAXB, DevOps tools, Kafka
- Experience with APIs, REST/JSON, Microservices, XML, XSLT, etc
- Collaborate on cross-team initiatives, including Team Leads, Technical Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, and Business experts..
- Experience required with agile tools and the ability to systemically apply them for consistency and agile metrics tracking.
- Experience and deep understanding of enterprise IT from business, technology, and operational perspectives, knowledgeable of ITIL, DevOps, Waterfall, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
