In This Role, You Will
Work on cutting-edge data science projects end-to-end: from data exploration to applying state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and their deployment on our machine learning platform
Directly impact the client and customer support experience of our N26 products
Work in an agile way and with experienced data scientists, machine learning engineers and product managers to deliver customer value and develop your skill-set further
Experiment with state-of-the-art technology, prompt engineering and project ideas around generative AI
Background
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally with a focus on quantitative disciplines including mathematics, statistics or computer science
>3 years of professional experience in the prototyping, development and productionizing of machine learning models and use cases
Professional experience with artificial intelligence and/or natural language processing, including large language models
Skills
Strong understanding of common machine learning algorithms and ability to mentor junior data scientists
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL querying. You are able to write production-ready code.
Proven track record of delivering machine learning and AI projects end-to-end
Experience and curiosity of working with large language models and prompt engineering
You are creative, organised, self-motivated and willing to work in a diverse, agile team to drive ambitious data science projects from conception through coding to deployment, collaborating with stakeholders from different areas
Continuously learn and challenge the status quo: You are proactive in carrying out applied research around the latest advances in generative AI and machine learning and are able to translate your findings into usable prototypes
You give and receive open, direct and timely feedback
Language skills: English full professional proficiency; Proficient knowledge of German, French, Italian or Spanish will be appreciated
