Senior Smart Contract Engineer – Up to $400K base

Amicus has recently partnered with an exciting Blockchain foundation who spearhead projects aiming at uplifting both their community and the wider Ethereum ecosystem.

This hire will work directly on one of their core products, a community-driven platform for experiments in decentralized governance.

Responsibilities:

• Implement smart contracts with a strong emphasis on security, simplicity and gas efficiency.
• Protocol upgrades - ensuring robust, scalable and secure architecture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest blockchain technologies and trends.
• Collaborate with other teams (frontend, backend etc.).
• Code Reviews.
• Design and implement peripheral mechanisms and backend components.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditing teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of developing and deploying production-grade smart contracts in Solidity.
• Strong knowledge of EVM, blockchain data structures and Ethereum consensus mechanism.
• Typescript and Python experience desirable.
• Deep understanding of on-chain security best practices.
• Located in EST or CET time zones.

Benefits:

• $150K-$400K base salary
• Fully remote
