This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office per week) based in our central London office, where the core of our tech team is located

About the role

We’re seeking proactive problem solvers eager to elevate our web/mobile Frontend capabilities. You are self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess a strong product sense, creating experiences that are not just functional but engaging and fun—after all, we’re building for teenagers! You have a growth mindset, a passion for continuous learning, and a drive to help others learn too.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute daily to a world-class product, with highly maintainable code and making key architectural choices for scalability.
• Become the Subject Matter Expect for your area.
• Promote best practices, always striving for incremental improvements.
• Mentor engineers, help them improve their technical ability.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and learning teams to understand requirements and articulate technical decisions and outcomes.

Requirements:

• 8+ years experience in frontend development with consumer mobile products, using React, React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript or equivalent (jetpack-compose/Svelte/etc.)
• Empowering and mentoring is important to you and you love teaching your skills and approach to others.
• When you speak, people listen and trust your expert opinion. You inspire people to follow you thanks to your skill in your craft.

The interview process:

Live Coding ( 2 Algorithmic questions) -> System Design -> Behavioural interview
