Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Taiwan

Work mode: Fully remote

Contract: Full-time Contractor position under EOR contract (Renew every year)

Job Level: Junior-Senior


What You'll Do

  • Be a highly impactful member of the Manufacturing Operations organization, responsible for supporting PLM processes internally and externally.
  • Work across Engineering and Manufacturing Operations teams to maintain data relevant to our product lifecycle, from prototyping through product end-of-life.
  • Aid in realizing and accelerating our product roadmap and sustaining engineering efforts.
  • Be a key contributor to all current and future system implementations & updates, to ensure appropriate PLM data integrations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting for users (external support).
  • Partner with suppliers to manage implementations of ECOs in production.
  • Frequently host meetings with suppliers to review new, existing, and future changes to production.
  • Participate in Supplier QBRs reviewing quarterly business updates.
  • Support Engineering teams in loading development BOMs for new product development builds.
  • Ensure accurate Mass Production BOMs are published.
  • Ensure Sustaining BOM changes are requested, approved, and implemented through the Change Management process.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, Suppliers, and Engineering to maintain current product costs.
  • Support supplier PLM users by reviewing and approving ECRs (Engineering Change Requests)
  • Create ECOs ensuring the correct parts and/or documents are updated to the correct revision/lifecycle phases.
  • Submit ECOs to appropriate approvers, follow up through final approval, and then share with external partners to implement change.
  • For ECOs with excess/obsolete inventory implications, collaborate with supply planning to manage the disposition of E&O inventory.
  • Manage PLM data integrity for data feeds into Finance and Supply Planning systems to ensure accurate supplier forecasts by SKU/location/period.
  • Elevate and mitigate new programs and sustain engineering risks.
  • Contribute to process improvement and new process development at each product lifecycle stage.
  • Support departmental operations as needed.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of data structures to assist with requested reporting needs or data questions.


Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with PLM tools; Propel PLM experience is a plus (operates on Salesforce).
  • Advanced skill set in GSuite and Office365.
  • Have experience working with global supply chains and manufacturing networks
  • Experience working with Asia-based manufacturing is a plus; Mandarin experience is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of MRP/ERP practices and principles.
  • Be comfortable with questioning ambiguity and driving for clarity.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills and work well in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with all functional areas within the organization are critical.
  • Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and complete specified task deadlines.
  • Be familiar with best practices governing the product lifecycle of hardware and embedded firmware; consumer electronics experience is a plus.
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Have experience understanding drivers of cost in the development lifecycle; product costing experience is a plus.


About the employment - EOR hiring

As SimpliSafe does not currently have a legal entity in the APAC region, they leverage Worca's HR solutions service to handle in-country labor laws and streamline the complexities of cross-border employment.

Consequently, you will be officially employed by Worca and considered an overseas personnel of SimpliSafe. Worca will act as SimpliSafe's local legal representative, providing support with international payroll, employment compliance, and tax obligations to ensure ongoing employment and labor law compliance. SimpliSafe will retain responsibility for critical aspects such as interviews, compensation approval, job content, access rights, and other decision-making processes.
