Title: Payroll Administrator

Salary: 855,000 HUF per month

Contract: Permanent

Location: Debrecen, Hungary


Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for payroll and HR services? We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing payroll processes, post-payroll activities, and providing support across employee data management, time management, and our contact centre. You will also have the opportunity to actively contribute to HR service projects, helping drive our team's success.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of Payroll and Benefits transactions, ensuring timely and accurate inputs into the monthly payroll cycle.
  • Validate payroll outputs to ensure all tasks are completed precisely and resolve any issues before final payroll approval.
  • Maintain compliance with tax, social security, and internal corporate guidelines.
  • Apply relevant policies, processes, and legal regulations for expatriates, inpats, and short-term business visitors while managing relationships with Global Assignments.
  • Administer and validate Executive Payroll, responding to and resolving employee queries and escalations through designated channels.
  • Ensure our Payroll system is current, implementing requested changes and conducting thorough testing.
  • Provide support on benefits-related topics such as Cafeteria plans, Group insurance, relocation allowances, and more, while managing employee time management issues and testing work schedules.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Payroll, particularly with taxation.
  • At least 2 years of experience using SAP HR (Payroll).
  • Experience collaborating across functions or working in international contexts.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a proactive mindset.
  • Membership in a Professional Institution (e.g., CIPP) is a plus.
  • Fluency in both English and Hungarian is required.
