Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Information Technology Specialist at HireGrow Staffing. The IT Specialist will be responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, network security, and providing customer service support on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first line of support for technical issues reported by users via phone, email, or ticketing system.

Guide users through step-by-step problem-solving processes.

Escalate unresolved issues

Document support requests, solutions, and feedback

Conduct user training sessions or create support documentation to enhance end-user proficiency.

Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues before they escalate.

Stay updated on the latest technology trends and tools to provide effective support and recommend improvements.

Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and suggest long-term solutions.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.

Familiarity with IT service management tools (FreshService).

Basic knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).

Experience with Office 365, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID/Microsoft 365, and common enterprise software.

Soft Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
