As a Software Verification Engineer, you will work in a team of engineers who develop operational and application software for embedded systems in aircraft. Your area of responsibility will include the entire testing of safety-critical real-time software to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
Tasks:
Specification of software test cases based on applicable safety requirements in the aviation industry
Development and implementation of low- and high-level software test procedures
Adaptation of existing test strategies to the requirements of new applications
Performing manual and automated software tests in simulation environments and on HiL test benches
Reviewing and analyzing test cases and results and creating test reports
Skills:
Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable fields of study/training
Professional experience (min. 2 years) in testing and verification of safety-critical software under DO-178
Good knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python or Rational Test RealTime
Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming
Basic knowledge in the development of high- and low-level software requirements
Good command of English, both written and spoken
High flexibility and adaptability as well as an independent way of working in a professional development team a big plus would also be
Experience with one or more of the following tools: DOORS, DIMENSIONS, Synergy, Lauterbach T32
Programming skills in C, Ada95 and/or assembler
German skills
