YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As a Product Owner, you’ll work closely with the CEO to take ownership of client app delivery, ensuring projects align with their vision and objectives. Your role is pivotal in managing app development projects, bridging client needs with technical execution, and driving successful outcomes for both clients and the Nordstone team.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Client Success Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Understand client business goals, translating them into actionable product strategies and development plans.
- Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes to clients, ensuring alignment and trust at every stage.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client business outcomes through innovative app features and functionality.
2. Driving Product Development- Own the product vision, ensuring it aligns with both client goals and Nordstone’s quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to deliver high-impact app solutions.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing client needs with technical feasibility and team capacity.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of app features, optimizing for client business objectives such as user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
3. Outcome-Oriented Leadership- Develop measurable KPIs to track and demonstrate the app's impact on the client’s business.
- Drive teams to deliver features and iterations that achieve or exceed client KPIs, such as increased customer engagement or revenue targets.
- Align development efforts with ROI-focused outcomes, ensuring the client receives maximum value from their investment.
4. Strategic Problem Solving- Anticipate risks and challenges, proactively developing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Leverage insights from client feedback and market trends to refine product strategies and maintain competitive edge.
- Ensure that all deliverables address both immediate project needs and long-term client goals.
5. Scaling Operations for Client Success- Create and refine frameworks for managing client relationships and product delivery, driving operational excellence across all projects.
- Systemize workflows for scalability, ensuring every client receives a consistent and high-quality experience.
- Train and mentor team members on client-centered development practices, fostering a culture of accountability and outcome-driven collaboration.
REQUIREMENTS
- Client-Centric Mindset: Proven ability to understand client business goals and translate them into actionable product strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Experience: At least 3 years in a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role within mobile app development or a digital agency environment. Strong track record of delivering projects that positively impact client business metrics (e.g., revenue, engagement, user growth).
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams (developers, designers, QA) to deliver high-quality, outcome-driven solutions.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to prioritize features and development efforts based on business impact, ROI, and client goals.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of app development processes, Agile methodologies, and the technical constraints and possibilities of mobile platforms.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in professional English, with the ability to manage client expectations and rally teams around a shared vision.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data and metrics to make informed decisions and demonstrate the app's impact on client business outcomes.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and adjusting to evolving client needs and priorities.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: Capable of managing complex projects independently while keeping track of details, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Results-Driven: A personal drive to achieve excellence and exceed expectations, both for clients and Nordstone’s standards of quality.
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: R25,000 - R60,000 ZAR/month (negotiable based on experience and proven track record).
Performance-Based Bonuses:
- Directly tied to the business outcomes achieved for clients, with significant rewards for exceeding client KPIs (e.g., increased user engagement, revenue growth, or app adoption metrics).
